The newly-announced HP OMEN 27i Monitor drops today — May 4 — a new 27-inch display geared for gaming, clocking in with high refresh rates and adaptive sync. With a 1440p resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, the device accompanies a broader refresh of the OMEN brand identity, launching alongside a similarly styled family of OMEN PC desktops.

The OMEN 27i leverages LG’s new 1440p 165Hz panel, providing 1ms response times and DCI-P3 98% color reproduction with its Nano IPS technology. It’s also positioned under the G-Sync Compatible certification, supporting variable refresh rate across GPUs favoring NVIDIA G-Sync or AMD FreeSync.
