Thus the Haylou smartwatch is part of the Xiaomi ecological chain although it does not bear the “Xiaomi” name. Today, Xiaomi Youpin announced the crowdfunding of Haylou’s latest smartwatch. According to the company, this super-cost-effective smartwatch is selling for only 149 yuan ($21). This smartwatch is called “Haylou Solar Smart Watch” and it comes with a metal body. It supports 12 sports modes, all-day heart rate monitoring, and 30-day long standby. Although it is called a “solar” smartwatch, it has nothing to do with solar charging.

In terms of design, the Haylou Solar smartwatch adopts a Nordic minimalist design. It has a metal middle frame and a 1.28-inch TFT round dial with a resolution of 240 x 240. The display produces rich and delicate colors, whether in strong light or in the dark. Furthermore, this device comes with a flexible silicone wristband. According to the company, it is very comfortable to wear even when you are sweating. With its adjustable porous design, it can match different wrists which makes long-time burdenless wearing possible.
The Haylou Solar smartwatch comes with a built-in optical heart rate sensors. This sensor uses mainstream intelligent heart rate algorithms to continuously monitor heart rate for 24 hours. Users can adjust the exercise time and amount of exercise according to heart rate changes at any time.
It also supports up to 12 sports modes, including outdoor running, walking, cycling, climbing, spinning, yoga, indoor running, free training, gymnastics, basketball, football, rowing. Furthermore, this smartwatch supports IP68 waterproof. This means that it can effectively prevent sweat or raindrops splashing.
Lastly, the watch has a built-in high-performance lithium battery, which can be on standby for 30 days. When the 24-hour heart rate is on, the standby time is up to 15 days. When the battery is low, it will also intelligently remind the user to charge.
